Interests

I’d say, I’m interested in nearly everything related to computer science and programming. The topics that I’m currently into involve

• LaTeX or making it more user-friendly (see my LaTeX plugin for Gedit)
• architectural issues of software
• recent programming languages like Scala
• the Semantic Web and all the nice concepts that come with it like SPARQL

Research

I work as a research associate at the Chair for Applied Computer Science IV (Databases and Information Systems) where I’m concerned with

• planning
• business process modelling
• textual DSLs
• meta-modelling
• the Eclipse platform
• and a lot of Java programming
